With two decades of experience and a portfolio of bold, innovative projects, Elena Oancea continues to shape the world of interior design as the driving force behind K2 Design Lab and K2 Retail Properties. In 2024, she also stepped into a new role as co-CEO of Goldbach Group, a dynamic holding company active across industries—from real estate to renewable energy. We sat down with Elena to capture a snapshot of her entrepreneurial journey and her vision for the future.

The 63rd edition of Salone del Mobile redefined the global design landscape between April 8–13, 2025, at Fiera Milano, Rho. This year, Salone embraced a human-centered vision through the campaign “Thought for Humans.” The initiative explored the ever-evolving relationship between design, the human body, and sustainability. With over 2,000 exhibitors from 37 countries, this edition went beyond product innovation, offering a complex perspective on how future-oriented environments can be created. Participants engaged in exhibitions, workshops, debates, and a wide range of creative events designed to inspire and challenge the boundaries of contemporary design.

Our latest Bucharest office project has been featured on Office Snapshots, presenting a headquarters designed for adaptability, well-being, and identity. The project rethinks what a workplace can be: not just an office, but a framework for evolving ways of working.
