ARCHIDO BOUTIQUE HOTEL

The hotel is conceived as a continuous spatial journey rooted in the cultural depth of Chiado, where architecture, material, and memory unfold through a sequence of distinct yet connected experiences.
The entrance lobby establishes the first threshold, where Lioz stone frames, plaster surfaces, and textile interventions introduce the idea of the hotel as a curated archive. This arrival space sets a measured rhythm, guiding movement into the social areas.

Separate from this sequence, the coffee bar connects directly to the street, translating the everyday life of Chiado into a refined interior setting. A central service island, suspended lighting, and perimeter seating define a space shaped by interaction and routine.
Beyond, the restaurant develops a more composed atmosphere, where material continuity, controlled light, and textile elements create an intimate dining environment. A dedicated wine tasting room on the first floor extends this experience into a focused and immersive setting, reinforcing the sensory dimension of the project.

The upper levels introduce a quieter rhythm. Guest rooms and apartments become spaces of pause, where historic features such as cornices and stone thresholds are paired with contemporary furnishings, soft materials, and filtered light.

Through proportion, material, and sequence, the project establishes a dialogue between past and present, forming a cohesive interior language where each space contributes to a continuous architectural narrative.
